Support a best Friend
Pets are an important part of our lives, even more so in some cases for our homeless neighbors. Their pets provide emotional support, love, and stability in their otherwise uncertain and challenging world. Many shelters are unable to accommodate pets, and access to vaccinations and medical care becomes challenging, if not impossible. That’s where we come in.
MakING a Donation
Your donation goes directly towards the services we provide. The My Best Friend Foundation provides meals weekly to neighborhood homeless shelters for their residents. We coordinate basic medical care with the local homeless population and regional veterinarians to provide vaccinations, neuter/spay services, and other needed assistance.

What we do
Our Services
Food & Supplies
We donate food, blankets, pet beds, leashes, collars, harnesses, toys, pet clothes, and other critical supplies to homeless pet owners and low income seniors.
Wellness Clinics
We provide health checks, microchipping, spays and neuters, preventative medical care, life-saving vaccinations and flea and tick medication to the cats and dogs cared for by area pet lovers experiencing homelessness.
Temporary Housing
In communities around the United States, a significant number of people experiencing homelessness own pets. Yet, shelter policies in many communities prevent people from entering shelter with their animal companions, leaving them with limited access to shelter, services, and housing.

Our Mission
The bond between pets and people isn’t dependent on having a roof. My Best Friend Foundation provides relief to homeless people and their pets in the form of food, resources, emergency care and support.
